Zena”, is a 2005 AMHA/AMHR Bay Tovero mare by Aristas Choctaw Charlie and out of NFC Cherokee Maiden. Zena is personality plus and has wrapped mom’s heart around her little finger – hoof? - already. Her striking coloring sets off her natural spark and animation perfectly, and she is at her best both in the show ring and entertaining her new family at home. She took home the blues in her first two classes for Mom’s Minis, despite mom being new in the ring herself! Her pedigree features the magical combination of Gold Melody Boy and Rowdy breeding. Her dam, NFCS Cherokee Maiden, a daughter of Night Rider and granddaughter of Rowdy, had a successful show-ring career before retiring to her duties as broodmare mom. Aristas Choctaw Charlie, her dad, is a son of Roan Ranger, one of the most famous offspring of Gold Melody boy. Truly, the best thing about this beautiful mare is that she has the sweetest disposition imaginable. Brains, beauty and breeding all in the same mare are not easily found.
