OTFS Happy Appy, “Happy” to those who know and love her,
spent most of her years roaming the hills of ME and being a mom and has not had
a lot of human interaction. Because of this, she tends to be a bit cautious
until she gets to know you if you are of the human variety, but she is a gentle
affectionate mom and will mentor and protect any foal by assisting in the
“babysitting” for the pasture. This Chianti granddaughter is matriarch of
the farm and keeps the other horses walking the straight and narrow. She makes
sure there are no disagreements among her peers and feels there should be peace
in the pasture. Should arguments arise she quickly puts an end to it by
asserting her dominance. There is always peace and equal sharing when Happy is
on duty. It is easy to see just by looking at this beautiful mare why Chianti
blood is so much respected. This mare has beautiful conformation and “horse
sense” to boot! Happy is color plus class! You can see Louise, one of
Happy’s fillies, on our foal page.
