"Mom's Silky Serenade" Born 06/22/09 --another beautiful bay appaloosa filly! Mom's Silky Serenade is by Chip out of Happy Appy and has Chip'sbeautiful blue eyes and beautiful white heart on her forehead. She is shaped like the perfect little horse and is very much a lady with a sweet, gentle disposition.
Silky is shown above on the right with my daughter, Christina Hammett-Laughton. "Mom's Hello Dolly" Born 05/29/09 at 4:00 p.m.--a beautiful bay appaloosa filly! Shown below is Dolly at four months old. She is funny and cute and still tiny. The first one to come running when she sees people, she is everyone's darling. Though her coat is almost black, you can see spots of blacker (I can't wait for next spring!), and she is everything a mini should be. Chip can be proud!
Photos below taken June 1, 2009. Photos below taken at two weeks old.
For sale--please inquire. The little dark pint of peanuts is little miss attitude. Just more fun to be with and still tiny at 1 month (photos below).
"Mom's Impressive Evening Star" Born 06/09/08 at 11:33 p.m.--a beautiful buckskin filly! Photos below taken August 2008.
Mom's Impressive Evening Star was born June 9th at 11:33 p.m. She was
standing and nursing by 11:45 p.m. She is smart ,sweet and spunky and
loves everyone. Her mom is a Chianti granddaughter, and her dad is a Rowdy
grandson; so she is definitely of royal blood. She has long legs, short
back and huge eyes with long lashes that steal your heart. She plays until
she is pooped and about to fall asleep on her feet and then sleeps flat like any
baby. She loves to eat and is already eating both grain (both front feet
in mom's dish) and hay and even chewed-up carrots! In Loving Memory
The horse that convinced me to specialize in spots. Terri Pattison of A Model Miniature Horses was the breeder of this beautiful little horse; and, out of the tears we shared at his loss, our friendship has grown, proving that even in the darkest of times there is always a bit of light for those who will but look. Thank you, Terri, for sharing this proud little horse with me. He will live forever in my heart as I know he will in yours.
We are expecting some 2008 foals starting in the spring!
